Dale is a member of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), and the Segmented Chapter of AAW. Collette is a member of Clay Utah.
Collette has studied pottery at the Vernal Community School and later at the John C. Campbell Folk School. She recently completed two advanced RAKU pottery courses taught by renowned Raku potters, Jim Homberg, and Bob Smith at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts in Grand Junction.
Dale has studied woodturning at Craft Supplies USA, the John C. Campbell Folk School, and at Trent Bosch's woodturning class.
Collette's pottery showcases her multiple artistic talents. She is able to create both functional pieces of art which are food safe and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Collette also creates pottery utilizing the RAKU process. Raku pottery is for decorative use only and cannot be used for food.
Dale's woodturning interests encompass both traditional (whole wood) and segmented piece turnings.
