Album: Segmented Wood Creations
Here are some of my creations using segmented wood techniques.
Large diameter (12 x 6 inches) constructed from cherry with walnut, bubinga and maple features.
This bowl was constructed from cherry with a feature theme. The fox is at left (yellowheart) and is being chased by hounds (walnut and blackwood)
This bowl was constructed from white oak with an oak/maple feature ring. The bowl measures 9 inches in diameter by 8 inches in depth and contains 100 pieces.
Aspen halves joined with a feather feature ring.
Eastern Red Cedar with SW mountain feature design from Aspen and Tasmanian Blackwood
Large diameter segmented bowl with feature rings constructed of Purpleheart and Honey Locust.
50/50 bowl combining a small boxelder base with mahogany and maple segmented rings. A bottom piece of mahogany adds accent.
Twin segmented bowls constructed from Maple and Boodwood.
